Hideaki Miyamura apprenticed under Master Potter Shurei Miura of Yamanashi , Japan . Miyamura has devoted the last ten years to experimentation with traditional Chinese glazing techniques. He has researched and recreated the Yohen Tenmoku glaze of the Sung Dynasty.
